Club Social - No Meeting May 31

The traditional 5th Wednesday joint mixer with Sunrise and Fairview Clubs will be held at The Lion & Crown, located at Watters Creek, 932Garden Park Dr., Allen, on Wednesday, May 31st, 5:30 p.m.

There will be no noon Club Meeting for The Rotary Club of Allen this week.

Club Supporting ACO Drive

The Allen Community Outreach (ACO) Care Center needs diapers and detergent as well as other personal hygiene items and cleaning products to serve families and individuals facing financial crisis in Allen and the surrounding communities of Collin County. The club is encouraging members to make a contribution by donating actual supplies or purchasing supplies online at Amazon.com

Welcome Amy Gnadt -New Member

Welcome to Amy Gnadt, our newest club member. Amy has been a member of the Allen Sunrise Club, where she served on the board and various committees. Amy is a product director for Liberty Mutual Insurance and has been a long-time member of the Allen ISD Board of Trustees. She is currently president of the school board. Club Mourns Loss of Carl Gilliland - Charter Member

Carl Gilliland, a charter member of The Rotary Club of Allen and a past President of the club, passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 82. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carl's memory to The Rotary Club of Allen at Rotary Club of Allen, P.O.
