Club Summer Meeting Schedule AnnouncedThe club will be meeting on an abbreviated schedule over the summer. There will be no meeting on June 3. We will continue to meet at the Chicken N Pickle every other week until September. Meeting dates will be June 24 / July 8 / July 22 / August 5 / August 19. Meetings will then be weekly starting September 2, 9, 16 and so on. Program topics are listed on the Rotary website home page. |

Entries Sought For 2025 Rotary Christmas ParadeRegistration is now closed for the 2025 Allen Rotary Christmas Parade. Please come out and enjoy the parade this Sh day at 2 pm. The parade, which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Allen Sunrise and Rotary Club of Allen (Noon), will be held on Sunday December 7, starting at 2 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “All Star Christmas” The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade is the Allen Sports Association The parade route will begin at North Cedar Drive and St. Mary’s Drive and proceed south to the Main Street. The parade will head west on Main to Allen Drive and then north on Allen Drive to the traffic circle at St. Mary’s Drive. New Meeting Location: Chicken N PickleBeginning in July 2025, the club will meet at the Chicken N Pickle Restaurant and Sports Facility in Allen. The first meeting at the new location will be Wednesday, July 9. The club will not meet on June 25 and July 2. Meetings will continue to be held from 12 noon - 1 p.m. The Chicken N PIckle is located at 1221 Johnson Road just north of the intersection of Alma Road and State Highway 121. The property is accessible from the 121 access road and also from Alma Road.   |

Community Grants Available For 25-26The Rotary Club of Allen is now accepting applications for community grants. The Allen Community Grants are intended to financially assist nonprofit organizations with specific programs that support the quality of life, health improvement, education and poverty alleviation. Applicants must verify nonprofit status, show a recent audit or financial statement, provide a list of staff and board of directors, and complete an application The application deadline is May 3, 2025. Grant applications should be returned to the Rotary Club of Allen, P.O. Box 369, Allen, TX 75013 or emailed to Grant Chairperson Randy Sandifer at randy@sandiferlaw.com.
